First and foremost, we here at Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all of you who donated your time and energy into completing our most recent build. Without all of you, our recent Habitat Family would not have a decent place to call home.
If you have ever volunteered, you know how fulfilling it is. You see the smiles on people's faces and have a feeling of 'good' inside you. With the holiday season quickly approaching, people seem to be more generous in their giving. Let's make this an all year goal. We are currently looking for volunteers for our newest build in 2023. Whether you have experience or not, we want you, because "Together We Can!"
If you are an individual, a local business that would like to participate in a team building event, youth group, men's group, even want to host a women's build afternoon, or anyone just wanting to give back for a couple hours, we want you!
Contact our Communications Director/Volunteer Coordinator: Elizabeth Wilde at email@example.com or 1-701.772-4418.
I promise you will enjoy your time and leave your community a little bit better than once you arrived.
Help build a world where everyone has a decent place to live!
We are gearing up to start having volunteers begin our inside work in the next couple of weeks! We are so fortunate to have such a great community who when we asked, they answered and stepped forward to give back to their local community! Once building begins inside, stay tuned for more photos and insight into how this build is coming along. Our goal is to have our 2021 Family in their new home for the holidays!
When our Executive Director, Marisa and I discussed creating a new website for Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity, I told her how I wanted to have a blog incorporated with it. I explained how I wanted to keep our local community informed on our current home build, reach out to former Habitat for Humanity families to get their take on the process from the very beginning and also give a few design on a dime tips everyone loves to have. Luckily, Marisa was very excited about the idea and completely on board. With our newest family about to start the building process, you will get to read and see photos from the construction site. I hope you are just as excited as we are for our newest Habitat for Humanity family as well as "Chicken Soup for the Habitat Soul" blog. Please check back for new blog posts.
