Built in 1964 and located in a quiet neighborhood, our next Habitat home is at 1914 S. 17th St. We have chosen to acquire a home and flip it with the help of volunteers and local businesses, rather than build new for our next partner family. We want you to follow along in our remodeling journey and sign up here, if interested in helping us make this house our next family's home. We officially kicked off demo of the home on Giving Hearts Day, February 13, 2025 with members from our match donor, CenterSpace Homes and area firefighters.

February 13, 2025 | Day 1
We had a lot of demoing on our first day. Volunteers focused on the basement, tearing off ceiling tiles, paneling, shelves and more.
February 22, 2025 | Day 2
Volunteers filled the dumpster, which was donated by Countrywide Sanitation Company! They also hauled up the old freezer from the basement, pulled carpet, got the old kitchen appliances, cabinets and more out!
March 8, 2025 | Day 3
We had another great group out on site to finish some more demo and clean up! Each day we are getting closer to rebuilding this sweet home!
March 18, 2025 | Day 4
We had a blast with our crew from East Grand Forks' American Crystal Sugar Company! They wasted NO time getting to work and tag-teamed the job duties for the day, making them the quickest crew we have had thus far! We cannot wait to have them back for another Business Build Day!
