OUR STORY
Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity has been serving Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN communities since 1989. Through shelter, we empower.
Habitat for Humanity is an international, Christian organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing by building safe, decent and affordable homes for families in need. Using volunteer labor, donated materials, and community funding, Habitat affiliates across the U.S. and glabally operate with similar missions, but may have different local programs and regulations.

Driven by the vision that everyone deserves a decent place to to call home, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 70 countries. In the Red River Valley region, we have built more than 35 homes. and globally we have supported more than 10 houses, for low to moderate income families .
Individuals and families, who are residents of Grand Forks County and East Grand Forks, in need of a hand up, partner with Habitat for Humanity to build a place they can call home or improve their home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. |
