We have chosen to acquire a home and flip it with the help of volunteers and local businesses, rather than build new for our next partner family. We want you to follow along in our remodeling journey and sign up here, if interested in helping us make this house our next family's home. We officially kicked off demo of the home on Giving Hearts Day, 2025 with members from our match donor, CenterSpace Homes and area firefighters.

Our Women Build 2025 was a success! It was sunshine & 60 degree weather so it was a perfect day to work outside. We got the yard & garage cleaned up, worked on the hardwood floors & had experience in cutting pipe. “Strong women build strong communities” Thank you to our women crew today!

Crystal Sugar was our business partner again today! This crew came ready to work & work they did! They know how to work safely, fast & efficient. They removed the siding & the house is now ready for new windows & siding. That will be happening soon. It was re-shingled a few weeks ago.

A great day was had with Development Homes Inc. & Opp Construction! 3 bedrooms, a hallway & the living room were all primed.

Saturday's hard working incredible Core Crew of volunteers worked on cleaning and buffing the floors along with removing the small exterior shed. Great steps are being made in getting this house ready for a partner family!

We had another great group of Core Crew volunteers on site to continue sanding the floors, demoing the kitchen and cleaning up!

We had a blast with this amazing crew from East Grand Forks' American Crystal Sugar Company yesterday, for our Business Build Day! We were so lucky to have them back to help us get further work completed on our job site! Gutters and downspouts were removed, bushes cut out front and gazebo roof removed in the backyard. They are incredible people and hard workers and can't wait to see them again!

We had a blast with our crew from East Grand Forks' American Crystal Sugar Company! They wasted NO time getting to work and tag-teamed the job duties for the day, making them the quickest crew we have had thus far! We cannot wait to have them back for another Business Build Day!

We had another great group out on site to finish some more demo and clean up! Each day we are getting closer to rebuilding this sweet home!

Volunteers filled the dumpster, which was donated by Countrywide Sanitation Company! They also hauled up the old freezer from the basement, pulled carpet, got the old kitchen appliances, cabinets and more out!

We had a lot of demoing on our first day. Volunteers focused on the basement, tearing off ceiling tiles, paneling, shelves and more.
